Experience

I was admitted in 1984, I practised as a solicitor in Nelson, Porirua and Christchurch until 2007 when I co-founded Atticus Chambers, a specialist Family Law Chambers in Christchurch.

In 2023 I relocated my practice to Alexandra.   I retain a door tenancy at Atticus Chambers, Christchurch. 

Practice Areas

Relationship property – advice and representation at the start of a relationship (Contracting Out Agreements) and/ or on separation (division of property.

Trust matters – advice and representation on trust structures and disputes.

Estate disputes – advice and representation to trustees and claimants on claims arising because of separation, family protection or testamentary promises issues.

Appellate work – all Family Law matters.
